Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals: Providing 500 new beds.. and developing the kidney unit

Today, Monday, the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals held an important meeting in the presence of Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals, Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Director General of Beni Suef University Hospitals, and heads of various departments in the hospital. During the meeting, Morsi announced the start of work to provide 500 beds in the new university hospital in East Nile. During the meeting, Abdulaziz Mohamed Owais, the former Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs, was honored for the services he provided to the hospital during his work period, and the attendees wished him continued success. Naguib Yaqoub, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, for his outstanding performance and his role in supervising the various projects in the hospital. The board discussed a number of decisions, the most important of which was the provision of 500 beds in the new university hospital in East Nile, the development of the kidney unit by adding 13 pediatric dialysis machines, and the expansion of intensive care by adding 12 new beds. Some issues related to medical work were also raised, most notably: briefing the Council on the initiative of the President of the Republic to establish 60 kidney transplant centers at the level of the Republic, and considering the establishment of a kidney transplant unit in Beni Suef University hospitals within the development of the kidney unit, as well as the start of trial operation For the Oncology and Burns Hospital, as the trial operation of the Oncology and Burns Hospital has already started from 1/7/2021.
