Scientific Seminar on "Blood Disorders and Hemophilia in Children"

The Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, Beni-Suef University, organized today, Tuesday, 2/12/2025, a scientific seminar titled “Blood Disorders and Hemophilia in Children”, held at the Seminar Hall of the Faculty of Medicine, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali – President of Beni-Suef University.

The seminar was attended by:

Prof. Dr. Hani Hamed Ali Desouky– Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board.
Prof. Dr. Emad El-Banna – Director General of University Hospitals and Head of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Meabed– Professor of Pediatrics and former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.
Prof. Dr. Dalia Saber – Professor of Pediatrics.

It was also honored by the presence of:

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nagi – Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.

The seminar included a distinguished group of professors and doctors from the departments of Surgery, Orthopedics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology, as part of supporting interdisciplinary collaboration to provide the best care for children with hemophilia, especially in cases requiring surgical intervention or close monitoring during operations.

This seminar is part of the efforts of the Department of Pediatrics and the Faculty of Medicine to raise health awareness within the community and to enhance the services provided at university hospitals.

During the seminar, the Dean emphasized the Faculty’s commitment to supporting medical awareness regarding blood disorders and hemophilia in children and fostering cooperation among different departments to ensure the provision of optimal medical care for patients, expressing gratitude to all participants in the seminar.
