A new medical achievement, announced by the Department of Neurosurgery at the College of Medicine

In a new medical achievement, the Department of Neurosurgery at the Faculty of Medicine - Beni Suef University announced the success of the 100th case in Scoliosis Correction Surgery, which is a significant milestone in the department’s journey towards providing advanced medical service at the local and regional levels.
This success is attributed to the joint effort of the team led by Professor Dr. Mohamed Shaaban Mahmoud, Professor and Head of Department, with a distinguished contribution from Dr. Abdel Rahman Saber (Monitor and person in charge of following up on spinal curvature surgeries), and with the participation of Professor Dr. Mustafa Fikri and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan.
The department also extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Professor Dr. Tariq Ali – President of the University, and to Professor Dr. Hani Hamed – Dean of the College for their continued support of the department’s mission and medical efforts.
It is known that the department is on its way to obtaining the necessary approvals to open a specialized clinic for spinal deformities to serve our people in Upper Egypt for free, reflecting the university’s mission to serve the community and improve healthcare.
