Faculty of Medicine Celebrates Graduation of the 24th Class and the Medical Oath Ceremony
The Faculty of Medicine at Beni Suef University celebrated the graduation of its 24th class, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University; Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hany Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals; Prof. Dr. Samraa Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Sherine El-Husseiny, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Dr. Emad El-Banna, Head of the Beni Suef Medical Syndicate and Director General of the University Hospitals, along with a number of former deans, heads of departments, faculty members, and the graduates’ families.
The ceremony witnessed the graduates of the 24th class taking the Physician’s Oath, repeating it after Dr. Emad El-Banna, Head of the Beni Suef Medical Syndicate, in a solemn moment reflecting their commitment to the ethics of the medical profession and its noble humanitarian mission.
In his speech, the University President expressed his pride in graduating a new class of physicians from the Faculty of Medicine, emphasizing that the faculty represents one of the main pillars of the university’s medical sector and plays an active role in serving the community and advancing the healthcare system.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hany Hamed, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that the graduation of the 24th class represents a new addition to the faculty’s record of achievements, noting that the medical profession is a mission before being a science and requires a continuous commitment to learning and teamwork.
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Samraa Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, expressed her happiness at the graduation of the 24th class, emphasizing that this day represents the culmination of years of dedication and hard work.
The ceremony also included honoring several university leaders and distinguished figures, including Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Hany Hamed, Dean of the Faculty and Director of the University Hospitals; and Prof. Dr. Samraa Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, in addition to a number of former academic leaders and Former deans including Prof. Dr. Wael El-Shaer, Prof. Dr. Atef Morsi, and Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Hadidi, as well as department heads, distinguished faculty members, and doctors from various departments in recognition of their academic and professional contributions.
The event also featured the honoring of the top graduates, amid an atmosphere of pride and celebration, marking another milestone in the Faculty’s long record of achievements.
